88-Crime logo88-Crime is a telephone hotline you can use to report information about any unsolved felony crime. Callers are never asked to give their names, and telephone calls are never recorded or traced. Rewards are available if calls result in the arrest and indictment of a felony suspect.

You can play an active role in keeping our streets safe. Anytime you have information about someone wanted by
the police or a crime that has been
committed, all you need to do is call 88-CRIME (882-7463).

Since this program began in 1980, tips to 88-CRIME have been responsible for more than 3,265 felony arrests and more than $65 million in recovered stolen property and seized illegal narcotics. Thanks to the anonymous tips from callers, 88-CRIME has helped take a host of murderers, child molesters, armed robbers, burglars and drug dealers off the streets.

If the information from callers results in the arrest and indictment of a felony suspect, the caller is eligible for a cash reward. The program has given more than $777,000 for rewards since its inception. The reward fund is financed by donations and contributions.

Calls are answered 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

88-CRIME announces several new partnerships to combat crime in the community

South Tucson Police and 88-CRIME are teaming up to fight drug dealers in high profile areas of South Tucson. Citizens will soon see new signs promoting a drug free neighborhood. The signs which will be similar to neighborhood watch signs are being sponsored by Food City and Basha's grocery stores. 88-CRIME has also teamed up with SunTran to put 88-CRIME posters inside all city buses at no cost to the program.

Not stopping there, 88-CRIME has also joined with Yellow Cab to put 88-CRIME signs inside their cabs and bumper stickers on the outside of the cabs. This program follows a similar effort that is currently working in Las Vegas. The Vegas Crime Stoppers joined with their local cab company to fight crime after a vicious shooting of a cab driver left him close to death and paralyzed.

Along with these new partnerships, 88-CRIME continues to work with many victim's families, neighborhood associations and other organizations like KOLD TV-13, TELEMUNDO TV-40, KGUN TV-9, Arizona Daily Star, Northwest Explorer, Homicide Survivors, Human Society, Animal Cruelty Task Force, Clear Channel, Southwest Gas, Tucson Electric Power, Southern Arizona Credit Unions, KB Homes, Coca Cola, Domino's Pizza, Crime Stoppers International, Crime Stoppers USA and other southern Arizona law enforcement agencies in the continuing battle in the fight against crime. Working together to make Tucson and southern Arizona a safer place to live and work, 88-CRIME is our Community Crime Stopper Program. Remember they don't want your name, just your information.
