Salary: $47,000 to $55,000 - DOQ

The Pima County Attorney’s Office is hiring Information Technology staff based upon the County Attorney’s desire to expand her capabilities into a 21st century paperless office. A significant financial investment in hardware and personnel has been made over the past 24 months and it is anticipated more will be spent over the next 18 months. The Office goal is to become one of the premier County Attorney entities in Arizona and the United States.

The person (s) selected will be an integral part in making this happen along with the present staff of programmers, network personnel, technicians and trainers.

Qualities Sought:

  • 1 to 3 years Microsoft Visual Studio.net Experience (Visual Basic.net or C#.net Emphasis)
  • Works Well Within a Team Environment

  • Willingness To Accept Direction
  • Good Communication Skills
  • Open To Innovation

Optional Skills, Helpful But Not Required:

  • PowerBuilder Programming Experience
  • Microsoft VBA Macro Programming Experience
  • WordPerfect Macro Programming Experience

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Participate in and contribute to technical design sessions
  • Understand and follow standards, guidelines, and best practices
  • Contributes to the successful implementation of the project
  • Works with team to learn business processes and mentors fellow team members as needed

Experience Desired:

  • Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005: tables, views, procedures, indexes, relationships, etc
  • Documenting requirements, specifications, design, and implementations
  • Good proficiency in design/debugging and coding skills
