VICTIM WITNESS SUPERVISOR

The individual in this position will interact and communicate with Administration, a range of county departments, and various community agencies (including law enforcement) on a regular basis. The Supervisor will occasionally represent the program in the community through speaking engagements and provide support for the volunteer program. An understanding of the Criminal Justice field and/or victim advocacy is an asset. This position may be required to occasionally work evenings and weekends.
Minimum
Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree from an
accredited college or university with a major in business,
public administration, management or related field. (Relevant
professional level experience may substitute for any or all
of the aforementioned education.)
Preferred
Qualifications: Experience in office management, grant management and reporting, computer and database data management, Project coordination and administration, staff and volunteer recruitment, hiring, training and supervision.
Special Notice Items: All positions require the successful completion of a background investigation due to the need for access to detention, corrections and/or law enforcement facilities or associated confidential information, documents and materials. Salary commensurate with qualifications.
