PCAO Hosts Joint Election Protection and Public Safety Press Conference

TUCSON, Ariz. – The Pima County Attorney’s Office will host an Election Protection and Public Safety briefing to highlight the coordinated efforts of election officials and law enforcement to ensure a safe, secure, transparent and accessible election.

Pima County Recorder Gabriella Cazares-Kelly, Tess Mayer, Pima County Librarian and John Stuckey, Facilities Safety & Security Manager with Pima County Administration, will join Pima County Attorney Laura Conover to give the public an update on election procedures, ballot security, voter protection and public safety.

When – Friday, July 10, 2026, 10 a.m.

Where – 32 N. Stone Avenue, 1st Floor Press Room

Why – To Provide Voters with Information on Election Security and Public Safety
