#WeekInJustice: Week 245
PCAO Team Achievements
The Pima County Attorney’s Office is proud that Deputy County Attorney Bobby Yu of our Civil Division, was among those selected as America’s 250 Public Service Champions by Local Gov 250 and the National Academy of Public Administration.
Yu, the Supervising Attorney for the Business Transactions and Land Use Unit, was one of three civil servants from Pima County and 11 from Arizona to make the list of public service champions as we mark the 250th year of our nation.

Congratulations to Emmanuelle Fahey and the Restorative Justice team for securing another grant from the Vera Institute in collaboration with the Tohono O’odham Nation. This grant will allow Restorative Justice volunteer Quinton Antone, a T.O. tribal member, to bring his own culturally sensitive programming to the Nation and to qualifying cases in Ajo. This is such a crucial and amazing win for the PCAO Ajo team and their ability to support the Nation!

#DYK 88‑Crime works hard to prevent and reduce crime across all Southern Arizona — not just Pima County. They partner closely with community members, law enforcement, and our media partners in Cochise and Santa Cruz counties to keep our region safe.
Recently, 88-Crime Program Coordinator, James Allerton, sat down with Terri Jo Neff of Sierra Vista Herald/Review Media to talk about 88‑Crime’s work in Cochise County.
Watch the recently released full conversation at the link below.

Victim Services Supports March Special Observances
March is National Reading Month and the PCAO Victim Services Division is focused on the favorite readings from employees, community partners and advocates.
These recommendations are all focus on resiliency and healing— two attributes the victims and survivors we help every day embody.
This week’s #ReadingWednesdays selections come from Deputy County Attorney Jim Morrow.

March is also Traumatic Brain Injury Awareness Month, and the Victim Service team also put together helpful TBI information in support of domestic violence crime victims and survivors. We hope these help our advocates, employees, community members and our strong, determined victims and survivors.

Journalism Staple Retires From PCAO
In the world of communications, it takes uniquely qualified professionals to tell the story of their organizations, their people, and the community they support, and who, in turn, supports them.
C.T. Revere has been all that and more for over 40 years, and the Pima County Attorney’s Office said “until next time” to him during his retirement luncheon March 17.
What he brought to the People’s Office cannot be replicated or replaced. We wish you the best in retirement.

Have a great weekend!
