#WeekInJustice: Week 253
Laura at Mission View Elementary School
County Attorney Laura Conover spent the morning May 12 engaging with 4th graders at Mission View Elementary School sharing what it means to serve the community through public service and the justice system. Students learned about the role of a County Attorney, the path to a career in law, and how government works beyond the classroom.
From thoughtful questions to playing a fun junior detective game to learning how the law works, these students brought incredible curiosity and energy to the conversation. Thank you to Mission View Elementary for inviting us to be part of such a meaningful learning experience!

Children’s Advocacy Center of Southern Arizona 30th Anniversary
88-Crime and the PCAO was honored to help celebrate the 30th Anniversary of this amazing organization. Congratulations to Executive Director Marie Fordney for everything you and the team do in support of our most vulnerable survivors of crime — children.

National Police Week
May 10-16, our community and nation come together to honor our law enforcement heroes for their courage, dedication and sacrifice.
88-Crime joined Law Enforcement Appreciation Night May 11 and delivered handwritten signs across Pima County all week to law enforcement.
88-Crime gives a huge shout-out to the local law enforcement in attendance, volunteers and our hosts at the Tucson Marketplace and Kino Parkway Chick-Fil-A, McGruff the Crime Dog, the Chick-fil-A Cow, and the wonderful students at Miller Elementary for the beautiful thank you cards! Your support helped us truly honor our law enforcement legends.

As National Police Week nears its conclusion, community members have shown their respect for law enforcement all week, and Baggin’s Gourmet Sandwiches showed their appreciation to the Pima County Attorney’s Office Detectives Division May 14.
Supporting the community is not something we take for granted. The Detectives Division and the PCAO are honored and deeply appreciative of your thoughtful generosity.

Have a great weekend.
