As part of her agenda to better utilize PCAO’s limited resources, Laura Conover promised to launch a new Consumer Fraud Unit to investigate, prosecute, and help prevent various types of fraud, including wage theft, financial crimes, insurance & banking, environmental and housing, and even government and Medical fraud cases.
PCAO is now able to review your complaints (which you can submit by using the Consumer Fraud Complaint Form below) and collaborate with other local, state and federal law enforcement agencies to help protect your finances. Deputy County Attorney Nicholas Spare and others within our Criminal Division are also available to help educate your organization or neighborhood association on how to avoid being a victim of fraud.
