TUCSON, ARIZONA – March 31, 2023 – Tucson media is invited to join Pima County Attorney Laura Conover as she honors six Pima County residents who have gone above and beyond to make Pima County a safer, healthier place at the second annual Pima County Attorney’s Community Safety Awards event on Tuesday, April 4.
The awards honor Pima County residents who are not professionals in public safety but work with others to promote safer communities and neighborhoods in a variety of ways.
A call for nominations from the community helped to identify the six recipients who will be recognized by Pima County Attorney Laura Conover at Tuesday’s event, which will be held at the Pima Community College Center for the Arts – Proscenium Theatre, 2202 W. Anklam Road beginning at 6 p.m.
Those to be honored are Anton Russell, Kenny Doyle, Lorna Ingram, Mel Dominguez and Melissa Brown-Dominguez, and Naomi Vega.
