#WeekInJustice: Week 161

February has long been a big month in Tucson: Rodeo, Golf, Gem Show.

It’s also a huge month for us here at PCAO, we are fully in the swing of recruiting, interviewing, and hiring.

  • We had a full day at ASU last week, a full day at UA yesterday, and Midwestern and SoCal virtual conferences in between. At the end of each, a very fun matching process ensues (Mark, Josh, and Bill Brammer pictured.)
  • We also hosted the spring interns from the AG’s Office, some of whom will shift to us this summer.
  • And the best part of course is the swearing in, once a law student has studied, survived, passed the Bar, and received their license.  Congrats Ryan Klee! (pictured)
  • February is also Love of Reading, and our elementary school visits continue. Say cheese! Con queso!
  • And last but not least, February has had a focus on firearms.
    • We helped the Board of Supervisors with the legal language on an ordinance.
    • We helped the legislature with the legal language on a bill.
    • And we delivered 900 gunlocks to TUSD, in satisfaction of our new Agreement to get 10-gun locks into every single school.

To be continued,
